Background

Sound Money Macro is about sound money principles, not me, but for those who want to know a little more about the author: I’m Rob Price, a macro researcher and investor with a free market background. After studying my masters in economics from the University of Cape Town in South Africa I completed the CFA exams, but think the most important lessons are learnt outside the classroom. I’ve worked in independent sell-side financial research and institutional money management. I’m passionate about people, macroeconomics, investments and the truth. I want to engage deeply and positively with myself and the world around me. I write about the consequences of unsound money, bitcoin, and anything else I find interesting, including book reviews and personal reflections. I’m currently living in Los Angeles.
